LIVE MUSIC: Dan Strauss
Dan Strauss is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Dan honed his songwriting craft growing up in Queens, NY where he absorbed a continuous flow of music. He has been writing and performing for over 20 years in New York City, The Hudson Valley and beyond. Steeped in influences which include Elvis Costello, The Beatles and Wilco, Dan has released six independent albums and is working on a seventh.
Dan has appeared on NPR, WFUV, WDST-Radio Woodstock, and WBKM in Vermont. His music incorporates aspects of rock, folk, country and jazz. He has won over audiences with his melodic storytelling, warm, intimate vocals and intricate arrangements.
